Turkey Trot Test Day and Track Event

Registration for the November 23, 2018 Test Day will open on DLBRacing.com within the next couple of days. The Event Schedule and Supplemental Regulations will be posted at that time as well. The Entry fee for the Test Day will be $250. Entry fee for the Track Event will remain at the original fee of $200. We’re still crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s on the sanction request, however the event will include three test day groups, 2 for closed wheeled cars, 1 for open wheeled cars. Of course there will be a 4th group for the Track Event.

Central Florida Region (CFR) will be conducting the Test Day at Sebring International Raceway (SIR) on November 23, 2018. Normally the Test Day prior to the CFR Turkey Trot race weekend is hosted by the SIR staff, and CFR rents one Run Group to offer a Track Event on the Sebring 3.74 mile course. Unfortunately, there was some confusion this year if there was going to be a Test Day prior to the Turkey Trot. The SIR staff has been busy preparing for the IMSA Sebring Encore event, the Sebring 12 Hour, the WEC event, and getting a replacement bridge installed at Turn 6. With all these activities at the same time, the Test Day planning fell through the cracks.

CFR has agreed to assist SIR with the registration and organization for the Test Day. SIR staff will provide the Corner Marshals, Grid, and Pit Lane workers for the Test Day as normal. The Test Day will be operated as if it was SIR’s Test Day.

If you are Testing, on-site registration and tech will be open for you from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 22nd, and from 7:00am until 10:30am on Friday, November 23rd.

As soon as the event is opened for registration on DLBRacing.com, a notice will be posted here. Additionally, all drivers currently registered for the race event, will be notified via email.

We appreciate your patience as we make this test day happen for you.
