1Corner viewing and ride-a-long participation require a Weekend/Club Racing Volunteer Membership and is FREE. Registration for corner viewing and ride-a-long’s is available in the Fan Zone, the Autocross and the Rallycross areas.

Minor Policy

Minors who are at least 12 years of age, who are at least 57 inches tall and have an official SCCA Minor Release FL 1895 witnessed by an SCCA Official Member completed by both parents are then eligible to fill out a Weekend Membership form to participate in the ride-a-longs being offered by Autocross, Rallycross and Track Events.

Minors will “only” be able to sign up for ride-a-longs in the Fan Zone registration booth. A parent will need to accompany them during the registration process and be present in the ride-a-long area.

Minors under 12 years old (except Junior drivers) are not permitted in “hot” areas (staging, grid, start, finish, course).

A Marshals Eye View

CFR SCCA is offering the opportunity for you to go around the wall and see what it is like to be on a corner with a Corner Marshal (Flagger) during an actual CFR SCCA race. Registration for this opportunity is in the Fan Zone at the Walking Tour Tent. There you will complete a Club Racing Volunteer Membership form (Free). Once the membership form is complete you will receive a second wristband, then a SCCA Official will take you out to a live corner during a qualifier or race, introduce you to that Corner Marshal’s staff who will show you the ropes. You never know you may even get the opportunity to flag a race car.

This opportunity requires long pants, close toed shoes and the ability to stand for an extended period of time.

The Back Lot Tour

Join us for a walk around the track to find out what goes on behind the scenes to make an SCCA Club Race happen. From start to finish we do it all. Registration, car tech, timing and scoring, grid, impound, corner marshal, pit marshal, food service, and so much more.

We’ll start out in the Fan Zone and go through the garages where you can see grassroots racers prepare their cars for their next qualifier or race, then go over to a corner station where you can watch our corner marshal’s in action, we’ll then take you over to grid where our Grid Bunny’s get drivers ready to go out on track and then finish the loop back in the Fan Zone.

The best part is that if you want to find out more we’ll make it happen. Our SCCA members are family and we welcome you to talk to us to find out what it is we do and how you can join in on the fun.

Comfortable walking shoes advised

Pit Lane Walkabout

Fans will get to see the Endurance Race Cars up close and personal plus meet the drivers of the Endurance Race before they start their 90 minute race on Saturday, May 5th starting at 12:20

In the Hot Seat

]oin the drivers of CFR SCCA Autocross, Rallycross and Track Events (formerly PDX) as they take you thru the cones on an autocross course, thru the dirt on a rallycross course and up on the high banks of the Daytona Speedway. Registration for a Ride-a-Long event is available in the Fan Zone, Autocross and Rallycross areas. A single Weekend Membership (Free) is required. After you have completed the membership form you will receive a second wristband that will allow you to participate in each of the events.

An SCCA Ambassador located in each area will guide you to your ride-a-long, introduce you to the driver, help you in the car and answer any questions you may have.

Passengers must be able to wear a helmet and be wearing closed toed shoes. Helmets will be provided at the event.

Ride-a-Long opportunities are not guaranteed. No hand held recording devices are allowed in the cars. Drivers will have recording capabilities and be able to share your event with you.
